This year the Annual Polar Bear Plunge is held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Join us for
some Pre-Plunge fun and refreshments at our Hospitality Table, located right next to the Plunge Zone.
We are committed to have more members and raise more money than ever before.
We can't meet our goals without your help. Why not join our team and take part in this great event. If you can't make
it this year please consider donating. No amount is too small.
If you decide to join us or simply make a donation, one thing is certain, you will be helping support Special Olympics
NJ. How can you go wrong?
Special Olympics New Jersey provides free year-round sports training and Olympic-type competition in 24 sports for more
than 21,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
The Cranford Plungers Team will meet at our hospitality table prior to check-in and enjoy the festival atmosphere and
morning refreshments until the plunge at 1:00 pm.
Over 5,000 participants are expected at this year's event. Once again the PBP is featuring a "Kids Zone" area
on the beach for the children who want to plunge with their families.
All local community groups are invited to join us in taking the plunge and help raise money for this worthwhile cause.
Our goal is to jump into the Atlantic Ocean with a group of at least 50 Cranford Plungers and raise a minimum of $15,000
in donations.

You are probably wondering what is involved in joining this effort. The first
thing you need to do is sign up to take part and than tell your friends about it so they can sign up. Between now and February
25 you have to raise a minimum of $100.00 and that’s it until the day of the Plunge.
On the day of the Plunge we will take a
road trip to Seaside where the fun really begins. Once you sign in you can meet at our Hospitality Table for some light refreshments.
While you are there you can meet new friends,
discuss plunging strategy and get psyched for the day ahead. Before you know it we will start to head to the beach to
meet at a spot that we have set up for our team. After that it wont be long before the countdownand the big Plunge.
