The idea to create a town wide plunge team came as a result of several
Teen Advisory Board members taking part in 2009's event. They were able to raise money for a good cause and had fun while
doing it. It seemed to be something other Cranford residents would enjoy. The Cranford PlungersTeam was formed for the 2010
event.
The event was a great success. Right up to plunge date we were in the top five fundraising
groups. We ended up n the top ten fundraising teams out of several hundred teams. We raised over $12,000. Our team was so
big they gave us our own registration table. This year promises to be better.
